It can be tempting to take the path of least resistance, in your personal life as well as financially, but sometimes the road less traveled is well worth exploring.
Stepping out of your comfort zone and taking a chance, be it a major career change, dipping into the entrepreneurial pool, or even just reevaluating your budget, can be a life-changing decision that will greatly change your financial status – for better or for worse. But meticulously planned or spontaneous, whenever you decide to follow your dreams, where there’s a will, there’s a way!
On today’s episode of The His & Her Money Show, Kim Anderson is back! Kim is a wife, mom, blogger, entrepreneur, and founder of Thrifty Little Mom, where she helps guide women on time management and all things budgets, family, and life goals.
Previously, Kim shared the story of how she and her husband conquered their whopping $93,000 debt, and today she’s here with us to chat about her brand new book, Live. Save. Spend. Repeat: The Life You Want and expel more tips and tricks and practical advice on taking total control of your financial life.
Kim and her husband always felt different from their peers, but they went with the flow. They pursued degrees, settled into their careers, and bought a house in the suburbs, even though the rough commute was less than desirable for them or their marriage. This was what “normal” looked like.
But while Kim and her husband knew what other people expected them to do, they also knew that this wasn’t where they were meant to be. So Kim quit her job to become a stay-at-home wife and commit her time to her entrepreneurial spirit and ideas that were waiting for a chance to come to light.
