David and his wife have always been big savers given their big salaries by focusing on lowering expenses. They elected for early retirement. According to Davi, it is best to save as much money as you can. As a money educator, he emphasizes that to build wealth, you should invest, perhaps in the stock market as it is a type of auction.
Yes, it is extremely complex; but you don’t need to be an expert; you just need to have enough knowledge to get by. You just need to know the basic rules, asset classes, what drives returns, how it works, etc.
Moreover, it is very important to keep your eyes wide open when investing by knowing the difference between investing and speculating. If your company doesn’t offer an investment plan, then you can save 15%-20% of your income and decide where to put the extra money for positive returns. Lastly, don’t spend too much of your time worrying about the tax consequences of investing; instead, put your money in a retirement plan or 401(k).
