On this episode of The His & Her Money Show, we cover a story of someone who is “in the middle” of their fight to be financially free. Sruti Basu had close to $50K in debt and knew that she needed to make a change.
Sruti was able to make a change in a very unique way.
As Sruti explained, she was ready to do almost anything to get rid of that debt…and she did. She walked dogs in the Midwest winters, worked as an adjunct professor, and started part-time at Trader Joe’s.
This hustle and her minimal lifestyle landed Sruti in a very unique situation. She was able to push all the money from her full-time job to pay off debt and live off her side hustle.
After paying off $30K of her debt in less than 2 years, she is now ready to close in on being financially free by November of this year.
Tune in to hear how why Sruti chose this unique method to pay off her debt and how she navigated the challenges that came her way.
