Lamar has always been passionate about entrepreneurship since Day 1. He’d always been restless, never staying in one job for more than a year, and felt his unused ideas were being wasted. Finally, even while he and Ronnie were both working corporate jobs, there were bigger dreams being put into motion.
Together they founded Black And Married With Kids in 2007, a blog created to inspire and encourage marriages in the African-American community, and when their online presence blew up, their success gave Lamar the confidence to step into entrepreneurship full-time.
It took 10 years, a lot of hard work, and a major work/life balancing act, but now Lamar and Ronnie and working for themselves, and living for themselves, too!
