Our Show is all about money, marriage, and everything in between. We talk a lot about finances that could help people in many ways, including their marriage. In many cases, we present guests who share their knowledge and experience on the financial side.
However, there is a lot more in marriage than money matters. And we would like to discuss some other factors that could help people on finding happiness in their marriage.
In this episode of The His & Her Money Show, we bring Jen Weaver to talk to us about finding happiness in marriage as a wife. Jen shares with us spiritual and emotional conditioning, where we find the scriptures of the bible applicable in today’s day and age.
Oftentimes, we get caught up in our own voice as we focus on our needs, our wants, and how we see our role in life as a person. We all have the desire to be happy, which makes us lookout for solutions to our problems on our own. We tend to seek help from the Lord especially when the challenges we face are getting tough. But the question is, “Have we given God the space to answer?”
The Lord’s presence changes my marriage and I am a gatekeeper.
Jen gave testimony about how she discovered that her communication with God was one-way. Jen wanted some changes in her life and changes with her husband, without realizing that God has his own plans. Realizing that she had to give room and voice for God in their marriage, Jen witnessed how God changed their lives far better than she could have done on her own.
Jen shares her knowledge and story, along with other people’s accounts, in writing. In her book, she talks about the ranged attributes of submission (or WifeStyles) in a way to make people re-think the wisdom of God’s will in contrast to society’s standards.
Jen is also the co-host of The Declare Conference, where people are encouraged to talk in freedom in the Lord, to walk in greater levels of faith and belief in what he’s saying, and freedom to walk in their callings.
